CASS researchers showcase expertise at 2017 NTU Singapore symposium
ANU and NTU scholars in the grounds of the NTU Singapore campus for their 2017 research symposium
Some of the best researchers in Australia and Singapore have presented their research on topics as varied as the language of happiness, humour, political power, and visualising data and heritage.
They gathered at the annual ANU-Nanyang Technological University Research Symposium, hosted by NTU in Singapore, from 14-16 November.
“The symposium builds on our strong collaborative relationship in the areas of linguistics, sociology and digital humanities, and included researchers from across the College of Arts and Social Sciences,” Associate Dean (Research), Associate Professor Ann Evans, said.
“It was an exciting two and a half days of discussions, and we’re looking forward to building collaborations leading up to the 2018 symposium in Canberra.”
Among the presenters was Dr Trang Ta of the ANU School of Archaeology and Anthropology, who is an Exchange Fellow at NTU.
